This foundation builds upon Materra’s early engagement with UAE commodity and digital-asset infrastructure, including DMCC, reflecting a long-term commitment to developing at the intersection of physical resources, scientific validation, and regulated digital systems.
Materra operates through Materra Labs FZ-LLC, a UAE-registered company established within Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ), providing the corporate foundation for the platform’s scientific, industrial, and digital infrastructure development.

Materra’s scientific structure is led by four core scientific members, supported by an additional 10 scientists and technical specialists across nanomaterials synthesis, materials science, characterization, laboratory development, quality assurance, intellectual property, and commercialization.
Operating under confidentiality arrangements, the Council provides the scientific and technical foundation for Materra’s progression from material development and controlled production through characterization, validation, standardization, and commercial readiness.
Its work supports production methodologies, scientific validation pathways, laboratory and quality-control frameworks, and proprietary material standards designed to establish reproducible, traceable, and institutionally relevant scientific assets.
